✦ very beloved band... they were my introduction to 80s music and synth-pop with Blue Monday - made me instantly fall in love with the genre + its one of the few bands i share a love of with my mom so thats cool :)

✦ probably my favorite band of all time it just means a lot to me. i was really into it during some really rough times so i hold them very very close to my heart. i think the lyricism plays a pretty big role in why i like this band so much - not that i can particularly relate to any of the songs but i really like the way theyre written - plus im a pretty big fan of the genre. but its mostly the fact that it has kind of "been there" for me when stuff was hard and generally a lot of nostalgia and sentimentality lol

✦ okay i know i keep saying all of these are some of my favorite bands of all time but the b52's are genuinely one of the most creative and unique sounding bands i can think of and all of their songs are a delight to listen to - they stand out a lot even in their own genre and over the years ive come to appreciate them a lot. my mom used to listen to them all the way back in 1979 and always tells me about how underrated they were here in argentina LOL

✦ my favorite argentinian band of all time! truly revolutionary and such a huge part of my childhood + teenage years as well. found out about it through my mom who was a huge fan back in the 80s and ive been obsessed with them ever since. i cant explain just how much it means to me!

✦ once again one of my favorite argentinian bands. there isnt much i can say about it - super significative for me throughout my entire life, every single one of their records is amazing and the influence and impact it had on pretty much all latin american rock is fascinating

✦ im. very insane about this band im trying my absolute best to keep this short this is SUCH an underrated band! although very known by their top single Take on Me, a-ha has an incredible discography throughout the years and many other amazing songs that dont get talked about much

✦ ive been listening to them since a was a kid since its one of my mom´s favorite bands and never got tired. theres not much i can say that hasnt been told before theyre an amazing band

✦ i only got into them recently but wow theyre like duran duran but better (sorry its true) i must say however that i very much prefer the sound of their first albums. i like all of them dont get me wrong but the sound change was kind of insane
